The Daytona TC-890 Mid-Size Tire Changer is a heavy-duty tire service machine designed to handle a broad range of standard, wide, stiff, and low-profile tires. Built for professional automotive shops, tire centers, dealerships, and service facilities, the TC-890 combines powerful pneumatic operation with wheel-protection features for efficient everyday mounting and demounting.
A self-centering turntable provides accurate and secure wheel positioning, while the air-operated bead lifting and pressing system assists technicians when working with stiff sidewalls and challenging low-profile tires. This added support helps simplify the mounting and demounting process while reducing the physical effort required from the operator.
The TC-890 is also equipped with a powerful pneumatic bead breaker delivering up to 2.75 tons (2,500 kg) of force for separating stubborn tire beads from the rim. An oversized bead-seating air blaster delivers a strong burst of air to help seat difficult tire beads quickly and efficiently.
Designed to accommodate a wide selection of wheels, the TC-890 features an outside clamping range of 13" to 28" and an inside clamping range of 13" to 26". It can handle wheels up to 40 inches in diameter and widths ranging from 3" to 15", making it a versatile choice for a variety of automotive tire applications.
To help protect valuable wheel finishes during service, the TC-890 includes rubber rim clamp shoes designed to reduce the risk of scratching chrome and other finished wheels. An adjustable tire inflation system provides greater control during inflation, while an integrated air lubricator, water trap, air regulator, and soap reservoir help create a complete and convenient tire service workstation.
